REDU was launched in April 2015 as a pioneering project in Iași, Romania aiming at addressing the unsustainable path of the clothing and textile industry and at providing alternatives.
The multidimensional space includes a collection centre that collected over 5 tons of textiles waste, a workshop for creating new products out of it as well as for reconditioning and repairing of textile products, a place for organising public events like handmade, repairing and creative recycling workshops, charity bazars, swapping activities etc. Over 5000 people benefited directly from our lab.
